The 54th Seminar 2018: A Spinning Odyssey
od·ys·sey n. an eventful journey filled with adventure
The Ontario Handspinning Seminar is Ontario's annual three day
gathering for spinners. Founded in 1964, the Seminar provides a
location for spinners of all levels of experience to meet, take
workshops, share their work, learn new techniques, shop and be
inspired by each other. The Seminar moves around the Province
to allow easy access for all. Each year the organizing
committee selects a theme for the event and all workshops and
activities focus on this main idea. Most importantly, the
Ontario Handspinning Seminar brings together our community of
spinners for a weekend of creativity and collaboration.
The Seminar travels west to the city of London and returns to
Western University (UWO), June 8 to 10, 2018. Join us as we explore
our love of spinning and look back to our roots of using academic
spaces for a weekend of learning, sharing and fun. The
organizing committee has published our annual Spring Newsletter -
